limit CPU consumption ??

From the doc "I like the new feature where The optimization process now returns each alternative SQL statement as soon as it is generated. The execution of the original SQL and the alternatives can also beautomatically started during the optimization process so that you cancomplete the SQL generation and testing process more quickly."
but is there any way in the beta software or any settings where you can execute the sql after everything has been generated ?? As at times it is consuming a lot of cpu and memory when generating the alternatives. or any settings to limit cpu consumptions ? As couple of times it crashed and didnt even let me generate a support bundlle for you guys. I am on vista 64Bit.

Hi,
Thank you for the feedback.
If you would like to get only the alternatives without starting the test run, you can click on the Rewrite button. This button will give you the same rewrites generated by Optimize, but not executing any SQL for you. After the alternatives generated, you can use the Batch Run button to start the test run. Hope this help.
Regarding the high resource consumption because of the simultaneous rewrite and test run processes, we are awared of that and we are consistently tuning this. No guarantee that it will be all fixed in the final release but I hope that it would be improved by the time we have the final build.
Thanks.

Thanks for the response Alex. But it would be great to limit the cput consumption, as there are other things you want to run on ur computer. I am sure you guys probably came up with this idea...but a suggestion would be.....instead of throwing alt's sql when they are produce....wait and throw 10 - 20 sql alt at a time....instaead of when they are produce...if you know what i mean...
